Season 2 adds a new timed, weekly Guild defence encounter where Commerce Guilds convert Trader Commission progress into a single high-stakes defence.
Quick facts at a glance
- Event unlock: only for Commerce Guild members; Commerce Guild must have ≥20 members and occupy at least one non-neutral Planet as Commerce Guild Hub.
- Initiation: Guilds accumulate Chest Analysis Progress via Trader Commissions. Once Analysis Progress ≥100%, Commerce Guild Admins can start or schedule the event.
- Timing: On start a Ascendancy Court jump point spawns near the Commerce Guild Hub, 3-minute preparation, first wave arrives, event lasts up to 30 minutes.
- End conditions: Event ends when all enemies are defeated or Chest Integrity hits 0; it also auto-ends when time expires.
- Weekly limits: Event can be started once per week; rewards claimable once per week; Analysis Progress carries over into next cycle.
- Reward/Rating tiers: C = 0 Integrity; B = 1–49; A = 50–79; S = 80–99; SS = 100+.
Enemies and what they force you to do
- Aromaweed Raider: numerous swarms that disrupt defences and can attack offline players’ Flagships within patrol range — expect area control and AOE damage.
- Aromaweed Smuggler: target chests specifically, travel in groups, retreat along original route after securing loot; they don’t chase players so intercept routes to stop escapes.
- Pulse Disruptor: charges then bombards an area causing Disruption; Disrupted Flagships must be rescued by operational allies — allocate rescue/untangle roles.
- Aromaweed Raider (Elite): Fielding this flagship buffs Smugglers’ damage reduction; neutralise Elite Flagships quickly to remove umbrella defence.
Pre-battle preparation: roles, loadouts and timing
- Role breakdown suggestion: Perimeter defenders (hold chest), Interceptors (chase Smugglers), Rescue teams (undo Disruption), Elite-busters (focus fire on Elite Raiders).
- Timing drills: establish an exact rally time before admins click 'start'; use a voice channel or pinned guild chat countdown covering the 3-minute prep.
- Loadouts: mix ships with strong single-target DPS (to finish Smugglers) and area control or crowd-control to manage Raider swarms; keep at least one fast ship per squad for rescues.
- Participation rules: decide minimum participation thresholds (e.g., X active players on roster) before starting to avoid wasted Analysis Progress.
Rewards, weekly cadence and long-term Guild strategy
- Rewards are claimable once per week; participating multiple times in the same week does not yield additional rewards — plan your best run.
- Unclaimed rewards will be mailed when you leave the Commerce Guild — useful for players planning transfers but not a substitute for active claiming.
- Chest Analysis Progress carries over after the event ends, so incremental Trader Commission runs still matter even if you miss a week.
- Because the event is weekly rather than daily, it changes long-term resource allocation and encourages a dedicated weekly 'raid night'.
Community impact and coordination with Port/war systems
- The event requires a Commerce Guild Hub on a non-neutral Planet — this ties directly to Port occupation strategies and territorial value.
- Coordination across guild systems (rallying allies, timing around War Declarations) will be crucial — similar to Port battles where timing and final blow matter.
- Because the event can’t be started while the Hub is under declaration of war, Guilds will need to schedule Trade Wars around any Port offensive/defensive windows.
- Effective Guild Chat/coordination practices are essential; treat this like other timed guild objectives (Port attacks, Trade Network Events).
Reader actionables and TL;DR checklist
- Ensure Commerce Guild has ≥20 members and a non-neutral Planet Hub.
- Push Trader Commissions so Chest Analysis Progress reaches 100% before your chosen run.
