📣 Developer Feedback | July 2026 📝
Greetings, Traders! A new edition of Developer Feedback has arrived!
This month, we're answering some of the community's biggest questions, including Season 2, the arrival of Dominion Warzone on new servers, Interstellar Migration, improvements to cross-server matchmaking, the upcoming Item Recycling feature, and much more.
1. Season 2 development stage and release window
The core development work for Season 2 has been completed, and large-scale testing is now underway. There is a lot of content to test, so we still need some time for further adjustments and optimization. Our plan is for Season 2 to be released first to the Servers 1001–1016 in August. Plans for the wider rollout will be shared after we have reviewed feedback from those servers. (See the Season 2 map preview for context.)
2. Roadmap delays and feature status
The features players have been asking about are currently at different stages:
- Season 2 is being tested, while Commerce Guild Ruins and Shadowfront League remain in development.
- Development on Boss Rush is currently paused as we prioritize a permanent tower defense mode.
- United Frontline has entered its final polishing stage, and we will share its release plans once they are confirmed.
We will keep the community updated whenever these features reach meaningful development milestones.
3. Dominion Warzone availability for newer servers
Thank you for your patience! On August 10, Dominion Warzone eligibility will be expanded to additional server groups. Once this change takes effect, all servers that have been open for more than nine weeks will be eligible to participate.
4. Interstellar Migration timing, tiers and quotas
The date of the next Interstellar Migration round has not yet been finalized. Once the server groupings and opening date are confirmed, we will announce them through the official community channels as soon as possible.
The current power tiers are:
- Revivalist: Above 110M
- Contributor: 90M–110M
- Pioneer: 43M–90M
- Follower: Below 43M
There is currently no limit on the number of Traders who may transfer out of a server. However, each destination server has a limited number of inbound slots:
- High-power servers: inbound slots for 1 ultra-high-power Trader, 3 high-power Traders, 30 mid-power Traders, and 40 low-power Traders
- Mid-power servers: inbound slots for 2 ultra-high-power Traders, 5 high-power Traders, 40 mid-power Traders, and 60 low-power Traders
- Low-power servers: inbound slots for 3 ultra-high-power Traders, 8 high-power Traders, 60 mid-power Traders, and 80 low-power Traders
5. Backup approval if the Trader Prince is offline
If the Trader Prince remains offline during Interstellar Migration and applications are left without approval, Traders can contact Customer Support. After verifying the situation, the team may appoint an eligible Trader as the Migration Officer to help process the affected applications.
6. Matchmaking improvements across cross-server events
We have received feedback about repeated matchups and large power gaps. We recently adjusted the server groupings for Shadowfront, Commerce Guild Duel, Dominion Warzone, and Cross-Server Arena. By expanding the matchmaking pool, the system will have more potential opponents to choose from and a better chance of finding opponents with closer overall strength. These adjustments will take effect when the next round of each event begins, and we will continue monitoring the results.
7. PvP Day balance concerns
The first five days of Commerce Guild Duel were separated from PvP Day to prevent large late-game swings that could negate earlier contributions. We understand some Traders feel PvP Day now has less influence on the overall result despite the participation costs. The team will continue evaluating balance between participation costs and rewards based on event data and player feedback.
8. Keeping up with new content
We understand concerns about keeping up as new content is introduced. Once Season 2 begins, Hero Signature Weapons will be added to the Season Shop, giving Traders another way to obtain them. We will also continue reviewing how other progression content is made available over time.
9. How Glory is calculated
Glory is primarily earned through PvP battles against Traders outside your own Commerce Guild. Base Glory is calculated according to the effective damage dealt to the target. More damage will generally award more Glory, but the final result is not determined by total damage or kills alone. Other factors include:
- Different star system levels may have different Glory earning rates; Glory gains are reduced in some systems.
- When there is a large power gap between the sides, the stronger side will receive less Glory. A notice about this appears in the target’s information panel before attacking.
- Glory may not be awarded under certain conditions, e.g., attacking with no Combat Craft while the target has a full Combat Craft formation, or entering battle when your Flagship has very low HP—repair your Flagship and deploy a complete fleet before joining combat.
- Glory can also be obtained from pickups in Disciple Hunting Grounds on Saturdays.
10. Item Recycling feature launch
The Item Recycling feature will officially launch on August 11. On servers that have been open for more than 30 days, a recycling option will appear in the inventory when a Trader owns an eligible item. The exact list of eligible items will be available in-game when the feature goes live.
Some recycled items will grant Recycling Coins. When a Trader obtains their first Recycling Coin, the Recycling Store will unlock, allowing them to exchange the coins for other items. We will share more details about eligible items and the rewards available in the Recycling Store in a dedicated community post. For a related overview, see our Recycling / Renewal shop announcement.
11. More emojis in in-game chat
We’re asking the community which emojis they would most like to see. Once we have reviewed the suggestions, we will gradually add more of them to the game.
12. Cross-server chat channel
We have recorded this suggestion and are evaluating the feasibility of adding a cross-server chat channel. We will keep everyone updated if there are any concrete developments.
