Patch notes — 4 August 2026

These are the official patch notes for Foundation: Galactic Frontier released 4 August 2026.

Update highlights

  • Spectate added to Shadowfront: Non-participating players can now enter the battlefield once battles begin to watch their Commerce Guild in action.
  • Dominion Warzone access expanded: All servers that have been open for more than 9 weeks are now eligible to participate in this event.
  • Calamity Befalls — round 3 opening time adjusted: The third round will begin at 05:30 UTC on the event opening day (previously 06:00 UTC) to avoid overlap with regular maintenance windows.
  • Other: Various optimizations and bug fixes.

Details & notes for players

Spectate in Shadowfront: You can enter the battlefield as a viewer after a battle starts. Spectating is intended for non-participants only; it does not change combat outcomes.

Dominion Warzone eligibility: If your server has been online for more than 9 weeks, look for Warzone sign-ups in the events panel. If you don’t see the event yet, restart the client or check again after the next server sync.

Calamity Befalls timing: The new 05:30 UTC start time on opening day applies only to the third round; other rounds' times remain unchanged.
